Prom Night

The ATC prom with its theme ‘One People, One Unity, One Night’ was held at Dorsett Regency Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on 15th January 2010
The opening ceremony was ‘one of the main selling points’
I was one of the dancers too ^^

For this prom night, lots of preparation needed to be done
Choosing song, buying cheongsam, practicing and etc

It was really tiring as we practiced almost every single day
But when the show was successfully performed, everything was worthy

The party was so good and I couldn’t drag myself away
The food was so nice, the talent time was awesome and the closing act was great

We were called as cheongsam girls of the day
And took many pictures as memories
It was great, really great
I did enjoy the night so much

Happy Birthday, Sister Connie

It’s Sister Connie’s birthday today
We had a small celebration at Winsoon café in Kuchai Lama
The café is famed for its ‘milk fish soup mihun’
It was full house and we had to wait for our turn
Everyone enjoyed the meal because it was really delicious.. Yummy ^^

Zorbing @ Titiwangsa

Orbing

INFO:
Let’s start with some introduction Zorbing, Orbing, Ball Sphering or whatever you like to call it. It is a for thrill seekers to experience the ultimate experience of rolling on a gentle slope, allowing riders to roll downhill, and also on level surface or even with water inside the ball.

Orbing Downhill Dry Ride:
2 riders are strapped into a comfortable padded harness for the ride down a hill or a slope. A “dry” ride means no water however you will be rotating with the Orb.

Orbing Downhill Wet Ride:
This is the most challenging and adrenalin packed ride where 2 riders are strapped inside the Orb and water is added in with you. A wild ride with water rushing past you as you rotate through the water flying down a hill.

Orbing Hamster Roll:
1 to 2 riders are inside the Orb and are free to walk, roll and tumble on flat terrain. Participants outside can have fun pushing the ball and seeing their friends inside tumble around. They can play cat and mouse if 2 Orbs are used.

The information was obtained from internet and a day with zorbing was organized by Daphne
We reached Taman Tasik Titiwangsa at 9.30 am if I’m not mistaken
I chose to play the orbing downhill dry ride and the hamster roll
It was fun especially the downhill dry ride

I paired with Melissa for downhill dry ride
Going into the orb is like going back to where you're born - you stick your hands in and slide inside the ball.
We shouted like nobody while rotating with the Orb.. Wow.. Memang shiok !!

It was another good session while I was inside the Orb with sis for hamster roll, we were indeed free to walk, roll and tumble on flat terrain
But I almost fainted as I was pressed by my sis most of the time, hard to breath (I think sis felt the same as me =P)
We tried to play cat and mouse but we lost because siong and bro were stronger than us
Felt tired as it required more strength

Overall, it was a fun session
If you have time and money, do pay a visit and try this
It was really interesting and I’m sure you’ll find it very enjoyable ^^

Houson’s Birthday Celebration + Han’s Farewell

Day: Thursday

Hehe.. Houson, you are finally fifteen years old..
Must be more mature k?

But Han, you are leaving us for national service, we will hilang a ‘Saturday kaki’ for three months then

Our celebration for these two brothers was held at Four Happy Seasons Restaurant
Everyone met up at auntie’s house and started off at 8.30pm

We had our meal in winter room
It was really cold, we wore the jackets provided by them, Xuan even wore two pieces nei..
This ‘big big’ gang almost collapsed the whole restaurant as we were too noisy.. Paiseh, paiseh =P

The revels commenced with the fireworks at 12 sharp
We sang birthday song, cut the cake and played..

Farewell Party for the Form Five Scouts

Day: Monday

It’s the time, the time to leave
Goodbye guys, hope you did have a wonderful moments with the scouts, the big family
All sorts of feelings well up in everyone’s heart
Desperately, everyone fought back their tears, but failed
And I could see -- tears streamed down their cheeks
Touching lei.. Sob sob..

Hey guys, a thousand thanks for your cooperation for the past few years
Not even one of the activities could be done without you guys, appreciate a lot

Don’t forget, once a scout, always a scout
So, please come back whenever you are free
You are always most welcome ^^

Fishing~

Date: 27th December 2009
Day: Sunday

We spent a day at Hulu Langat to commune with nature today
Yes yes~
We were going to fish today.. haha

I should consider myself that this was the first time fishing as I only learnt how to cast when I joined the scout activity few years ago
Erm..
Fishing tests a person’s patience
It is not easy to get somebody to sit in a same place for few hours just to wait for the fish to snap at the bait
I cannot, with honestly, have the patience to hook the fish
However, we still enjoyed a day’s fishing by pond

The best was when we saw there’s a mess of fish down the pond, we quickly got our lines in the water
It needed skill to get the fish, finally only the boys could get the fish
The rod bent as they pulled in the fish
Everyone showed a smile of satisfaction

Went to hot spring while we were on the way back
We dabbled our toes in the spring
Only Siong and Dee could immersed their feet for the longest times under the hot weather.. Geng~

Had our ‘seafood’ dinner with uncle when we reached home coz the main course of the meal were fish
Not bad nei ^^

Four Happy Seasons Restaurant

Day: Saturday

As I have mentioned in the earlier post, I would go Four Happy Seasons Restaurant with my family today
To celebrate our belated Christmas XP

The environment in this restaurant was awesome
As it was named, the restaurant was divided into four seasons, namely spring, summer, autumn and last but not least winter
We chose to have our dinner at the winter area
It was not cold though
We chatted and took some pictures while waiting for the meal

We went to auntie’s house at cheras after dinner
Xuan was drawing, she was learning (excited wei~)
Haha, mei mei, finally you are growing up – cuba melukis pula ^^
She was so cute and adorable
We ended up by taking some photos together.. lol
